free service (2008)

For the project free service, services united offered a free service through ads on craigslist and word of mouth. services united was interested in investigating the role of the exchange of money in performing services. Free services perfomed included painting a kitchen floor for an artist collective, mulching a yard for a neighbor, and helping to paint a Montessori school.
